Our mission
Psy & Society is a collaborative effort comprised of psychologists from various associations with a shared vision of shaping a psychologically informed society. The group is composed of academics and psychologists with specializations in social, clinical and health psychology.
Our story
Born amidst the pandemic, Psy & Corona initially emerged in response to a pressing need: ensuring that the expertise of psychologists, academics and was adequately represented in expert panels and policy-making committees.
Our collective journey began in May 2020, driven by psychologists who sought to contribute to media debates and policy discussions surrounding the Corona crisis.
Together, we embarked on a mission to develop a comprehensive conceptual framework on corona-related behavior, providing strategic advice and actionable insights to address emerging challenges. Simultaneously, we forged strong visibility and direct relationships with media, journalists, and policy-making committees, becoming a trusted source of expert guidance on corona-related behavior. These foundational achievements have since propelled our transition into Psy & Society, where our commitment to societal impact remains unwavering.
