Hannah De Laet is a currently a scientific assistant at the VUB where she works in the research lab of Prof. dr. Elke Van Hoof. Hannah is working on a project about improving the shared decision making in cancer patients. During her studies at Ghent University, Hannah developed a strong interest into autism research. This interest further developed during her research internship at King’s College London.

 

Besides her work on shared decision making, she is also a member of the superior health council working group about the psychological impact of Covid-19. Within this working group she is working on the Belgian Mental Health Data Repository. This data repository gathers and analyzes all Belgian research about the impact of covid on mental health.
